After
making a foundation of evenly-spaced Straight Stitches, weave another
thread around them without piercing the fabric. Using
a blunt needle such as a tapestry needle for the weaving
makes it easier to avoid piercing the fabric. Bring the
thread up at A and wrap it around the first two bars twice,
ending at position B. Repeat up the ladder. Work the left
side of the border the same way. |
