The Ladder Stitch makes
a vertical zig-zag across only 4 pleats.
Start at the left side of pleat #1, and make a normal
Cable Stitch into pleat #2 (Step 1).
Next, make a normal Trellis Stitch, travelling down to
the next row, into pleat #3 (Step 2). Next, make an Outline Stitch into pleat #4 (Step
3). Now it gets tricky. Travel down to the next row, and
insert the needle into the right side of pleat #1, exiting
out the left side (Step 4). Stitch a normal Outline Stitch
into pleat #2 (Step 5). |
